A Brig Too Far was originally founded in November of 2005. It disbanded, then reformed with the current founding date of March 8, 2006. The crew was formed out of the remnants of Hells Calling, initially named Hells Gate, but was later renamed by Craigington. A Brig Too Far joined A Song For The Deaf in early December of 2005, but left the flag shortly after, and became an independent crew. The role of captain was then handed to Buccan.
