Biography
Having escaped the Phantom Zone after the detonation of a hydrogen bomb, general Zod found himself on the planet Houston doing battle with the son of his jailor. After a highly contested loss at the hands of Kal-El, Zod was knocked unconscious and awoke on the shores of Admiral Island with a broken hand and no possessions other than his eternally present black outfit.
A pirate by the name of Chumley helped him get back on his feet. One evening while Chumley wasn't looking, Zod stole the deed to a sloop and began terrorizing the high seas.
On 6 November 2007, General Zod formed the crew The Sons of Jor-El to exact his revenge on "this so called Superman."
Fortunately for his crew, this former diabolical madman mellowed and now is known as a very generous and fair captain. He even repaid Chumley for the stolen sloop...with interest.
On 13 December 2007 he, along with several of his senior officers, decided it was time to start their own flag. Zod felt he had no other choice but to banish himself back into the Phantom Zone.

Zod has become fascinated about boat ownership and has plans on owning "a pyramid of ships," which is one grand frigate, two war frigates, three merchant galleons, four war brigs, five merchant brigs, six baghlahs, seven longships, eight dhows, nine cutters, and ten sloops...and giving them all unique names.
