History
Uncommon Valor was founded on 19 October, 2005 by Captain Criptripper. Criptripper was later succeeded by Aryelxandra as captain.
The crew sailed under the flags of Superior Swashbucklers, Rules of Engagement and Elements of Fear before becoming a member of Rising Storm.
By September of 2007 Smuckers had replaced Aryelxandra as captain of Uncommon Valor.

Thanks for taking the time to check out our public statement. Our crew is our family. We're out to have fun and leave the drama of life if but for a few moments. Because we are a family crew, I ask that ye be respectful and not curse. There is a filter, use it if ye must, but bear in mind that while we have adults in the crew...we also have children. I ask that ye be respectful of my mates as I would expect them to be of you. Thank you and happy puzzling.

Promotion Requirements
- Cabin Person: Any non-subscriber.
- Pirate: Must be subscribed.
- Officer: Must have broads in all piracy skills (except sword fighting) and go through officer training by the Captain or a Senior Officer.
- Fleet Officer: Have 2 solids, some bnav experience, own a ship, show that they know the helm and how to treat jobbers justly, and must gain the respect and trust of the Captain and the Senior Officers of the crew.
- Senior Officer: Must be a loyal and ACTIVE member and have the respect and trust of the Captain and the Senior Officers of the crew. Only a member that's been with the crew long enough and have made numerous contributions will be considered.
- Captain: Hmmm....
NOTE: I expect ALL me officers to lead by example, and if ye only want to play poker, then why be an officer.
