The Dauntless Front was a crew that sailed the Sage Ocean. The crew flew the flag of League of Light.
History
The Dauntless Front was founded by Captain Bootlegpete on 21 April, 2006 as a training crew for The Sub-Mariners (TSM) and began with meager intentions. When TSM disbanded sometime near the end of April, 2006, The Dauntless Front took on the role of a fully functional and independent crew.
The Dauntless Front topped out at Renowned Blaggards at the height of its existence.
By August of 2007 the crew had fallen dormant.
Public Statement
Ahoy! We be a skilled lot, and we love our booty. If ye be looking for good company and a boat load of PoE, then the Dauntless Front, a.k.a. TDF, is the crew for you!

Crew Articles
The following rules are absolute, and shall henceforth be known as "The Code"...
- Treat everyone with respect.
- Do not swear, especially when asked by the CO not to.
- Do not "laze about" while at sea ( lazing = the plank).
- Do not ask to be an Officer. Officers will be selected by invitation only.
- If part of "TDF", always ask PTB ( Permission To Board) before whisking onto any ship.
- Obey your Commanding Officer (CO) at all times, and do not question them.
- NEVER leave a ship during battle ( jumping ship = no pay).
- Do not abandon a duty station unless ordered.
- Do not trade with or challenge other pirates while at sea.
- Do not ask any question more than once (pestering the CO = the plank)
- Do not assume a gunning station without receiving the CO's direct permission.
...with this said, the CO of any pillage is to be the highest ranking Officer on board. Obey him/her at all times, and follow the Code.
Promotion Requirements
Let it be known that all positions within The Dauntless Front shall be aquired by skill, and skill alone. Money cannot not buy our trust, nor can it buy our respect. If ye try to buy your way into this crew, the only thing you will get is our contempt.
Requirements:
- Cabin Person: All ye need to do is ask!
- Pirate: You must be renowned or higher at Gunning, and have purchased the proper badge from the Palace Shoppe.
- Officer: Ye must have obtained broad in all of yer Piracy skills (minus SF and Rumbling), and have sailed under the Captain's command for no less than two weeks.
- Fleet Officer: Ye must be SOLID in all but two Piracy skills, and must have gained the Capn's complete trust. A rating of SOLID must be obtained in B-Nav and Gunning.
- Senior Officer: To be offered the position of SO, ye must own the deed to yer own ship.
