This page didn't exist and it was bothering me so I started it, feel free to delete everything I wrote or update it or whatever. ~Chipps

It exists, but under a name which is difficult for people to find - Official:Reputation Adrielle ♥ =) 00:13, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
I reckon this page is needed. Especially since we can do stuff to it that we can't do to pages in the official namespace. Like add link tables similar to those on the fame and crew rank articles. =) --Belthazar451 00:29, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
I agree - and people will be able to find it now =D Adrielle ♥ =) 00:45, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
Nice work, the table looks good ~Chipps

I noticed that Conqueror reputation grows after Imperial Outpost Expeditions. Should not it be added on this page?

Zyzyzyryxy

Yep, mine grew after one of those too. Adrielle ♥ =) 22:28, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

After a tip from the forums, I went and found out that winning a zombie fray is not necessary. to increase conqueror reputation -Jksparow-

Yes it is not a necessary to attend the zombie frays, but it is one of the ways to increase the reputation. ~ Mosdeux

Hmm, with the addition of HS, should this page be updated if entering the graveyard increases explorer reputation, etc? Is it possible to get a dev to conform that the reputations are updated with HS yet?

Explorer - Earned by visiting the Atlantis Citadel, visiting the Cursed Isles, visiting the Ship Graveyard, completing expeditions, and traveling around the ocean.
Magnate - Earned by purchasing items and portraits and earning loot from sea monsters in Atlantis and ghosts in Haunted Seas. ~ Mosdeux

my Magnate grew after i purchased a labor badge( it grew from Aspiring to Obscure), should we add that to the magnate part. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thelegohead (talkcontribs)

Yes, in my experience my magnate reputation rises everytime I spend doubloons on something (badge, delivery fee). --Alfwyn 01:09, 9 December 2010 (UTC)

Found that fighting vikings increased my conqueror reputation several times. If I am wrong someone change it back. --Varvesh

Diminishing

Please note that reputation will begin to diminish if a pirate is left inactive for prolonged periods of time. - shouldn't it say that reputation decays over time, like fame, and needs constant upkeep in the area of reputation? Or is my understanding wrong?

Also to note - anyone who changes the article should put a paragraph break between that sentence and the next paragraph about special items. They are two different topics. Chupchup 22:14, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

Generic pillaging -- adds to Conqueror? or to Explorer?

I'm asking specifically about "generic" pillaging; that is, prowling the ocean in search of brigands and/or barbarians. I'm not talking about expeditions or SMHs. Can anyone confirm which type of Rep gains from basic pillaging, please? Thanks! -- Franklincain (t/c) 19:48, 11 July 2012 (PDT)

I am not sure that it grants any reputation at all. It is not mentioned in the official documentation. You gain Explorer reputation by sailing around the ocean, so you will get some incidentally from any pillaging voyage. Chupchup 21:14, 12 July 2012 (PDT)
I suspect that general pillaging battles against brigs/barbs may increase Conqueror reputation, despite not being mentioned in the official documentation. I was awarded the July 2015 Seal o' Piracy upon completing a BK battle, having done nothing else since logging in for the first time this month but battle barbarians in pillage. (The Seal requires 2 actions that increase Conqueror rep.) -- Vortexae 13:59, 1 July 2015 (PDT)
Probably the trophy criteria are lightly booched again. I'd think someone would have noticed by now if their rep went up while ordinary pillaging. --Budclare2 15:21, 1 July 2015 (PDT)
I concur. The client update on July 2 might even have fixed it. (In any case, was unable to replicate on Cerulean.) -- Vortexae 12:21, 3 July 2015 (PDT)

Werewolves

Do Werewolves count towards conqueror reputation? I saw that skellies and zombies are were both listed, so I added werewolves to that list too on the basis that what's good for those two probably works for werewolves too. However, if anyone can confirm that they do not, please remove werewolves from the list. Cheers :) --Therobotdude 11:12, 20 August 2014 (PDT)

More Conqueror notes

From personal experience, it seems that doing Brigand Kings increases one's Conqueror Reputation a LOT more than one would obtain from doing just island Frays, i.e. Brain-suckers (Zombies), etc. ~Gunnerfreak 14/9/16 12:28 (24-hr time)
