page too big -- split into half? (Y/N)

This page takes too long to load. Therefore, I propose splitting it into halves -- i.e. "Left-facing" and "Right-facing". I've made the respective sub-pages (to show how they'd look), but I'm going to wait before actually making this change to this specific page. Do the show/hide templates pre-load images? That would be a way to speed things up if not. Otherwise, what about a separate page (E.G. List of building rooms) where images of rooms (and floor plans) can be stored to free up space on individual building pages? I'm not overly keen on splitting this article since both left and right-facing halls are minor variations on the same grandiose hall. --Therobotdude 18:02, 14 September 2013 (PDT)

Ah, I see. If floor plans are a performance hit to all building/ship pages, then either the code needs to be optimised, or the floor plans need to be moved somewhere else. What about sticking a location's floor plans on a subpage (e.g. Grandiose_pirate_hall/Floor_plans), with the images staying on this page? The Grandiose_pirate_hall article would retain its room images, and under every image there'd be a link pointing to a section in the floor plans subpage. That'd speed up viewing of this page, since I suspect most people who visit aren't immediately interested in viewing floor plans. (However, anyone who was interested would be taken to a page dedicated to all of them, and wouldnt have to show/hide each one) --Therobotdude 07:16, 18 September 2013 (PDT)
