Rue the Day is the palace on Isle of Kent and is therefore the first building on the island. The deed is held by Blackbone of the flag Notorious, the governor of the island.

The construction of the original fort was finished on November 8th, 2005, four days after the blockade. Rue the Day was the first player-owned building on the Sage Ocean.

Rue the Day has been the setting for many events and weddings.
