Renegades of Life was a crew on the Viridian Ocean.
The crew motto is "Nunquam Redono", Latin for 'Never Give Up'.

Flagship Crew
Renegades of Life (ROL) was the original crew of the erased pirate Alive and was the founding crew of the now defunct flag Equilibrium. ROL was the also used as the blockade crew for the Viridis VI blockade.
When Alive retired the crew was placed in the safe hands of Ladyjules for a short while before merging with ex-Renegade Jebus in his crew, Drunken Gold Diggers. This was then purchased by Antix for an estimated 1.5 million PoE
It has now been recreated with the arrival of Phantom along with some close friends.
Mergers and Aquisitions
06-05-07: Crazed Cutthroats
Captain Detritus, an old adversary of Phantom's, merged his crew, Crazed Cutthroats, upon hearing that ROL was recreated.
Promotion Criteria
We partly implement the skill calculations PEAR as invented by Ozzimendo. This can be calculated HERE. We blend this with specific skill requirements.
Pirate
You can be promoted to Pirate once you have the Pirate Badge and have spent a short time in the crew. Ideally we would prefer you to have:
- PEAR Rating of ( 1 )
- Gunning Rating of Narrow - Respected
Officer
Officers are expected to be at the forefront of pillaging, ideally leading their own. We have a few designated Crew vessels for communal use for Officers. These ships hold no stock and if an Officer wants to use one, has to stock the vessel themselves. This is an ideal position to improve as a player and within the crew.

Fleet Officer
Being a Fleet Officer means to be able to manage a pillage and the people around you, therefore we ask for a little more from our officers.

Senior Officer
Senior Officers are players of the highest quality of trust, respect and ability. As an integral part of the crew you lead by example, run pillages, encourage growth, and recruit fairly. You have a duty to help the members below you and to the flag. You will be looked upon to provide support and tactical confidentiality during blockade time.
Senior Officers will only be added if they fit into the crew structure and approved by the Captain.
Whoever is promoted to Senior Officer who joined the crew as a Cabin/Pirate and rose through the ranks without leaving will be awarded the Renegade Medal of Exceptional Loyalty

Crew Guidelines
"Renegade" Medals of Honour
To encourage good puzzling and ingame achievements, Phantom has developed a special series of trinket medals to be awarded to members. The trinkets are bought via the ingame shop and are enscribed. Renegades of Life are the first crew in Viridian to offer these as standard to their operation.
