Rambutan Republic is a crew of the Cobalt Ocean. It was founded on 4 December 2006. Autocratic in nature, the Rambutans offer employment under jobber's delight, and require a modest 25% restocking share.
History
Captain Loxley founded the Rambutan Republic after being expelled from Melpomene's Fury, of the flag Polaris, by Captain Bullock. The affair involved lies, slander, betrayal, and insubordination. While Loxley has retained hearties who remain members of Melpomene's Fury and the other crews of Polaris, Melpomene's Fury is the mortal enemy of all Rambutans. Loxley feels that revenge makes piracy more fulfilling.
Public Statement
Ahoy! All those pirates willing to learn and exchange ideas are welcome to the Republic. This is a crew of hearties. While the Republic is always on a quest for glory and riches, this crew will not achieve those goals by taking advantage of the young or less experienced. The Republic wants their crew to be famous, not infamous!
So sharpen yer sword and join us straight away! And remember, KILL KILL KILL!

Officer - You have your own sloop or cutter, and you have demonstrated basic skill in battle navigation.
Fleet Officer - You are a hearty of Captain Loxley, and you have taken some sort of crew responsibility. You must have weighty experience in all piracy puzzles except navigation and battle navigation.
Senior Officer - You are a hearty of Captain Loxley, you have taken a crew responsbility, and the other senior officer(s) have voted to enact the promotion. Must demonstrate proficiency in most puzzles.
