The Puzzle Pirates Trade Profiteer is a third-party Windows-based application for collecting and analyzing commodity market information from the islands around the various oceans. It can be used to determine profitable commodity trade routes. It is developed and maintained by the Colony West Software Company, a sole proprietorship owned by Arcturis.

The project was initially announced on the forums on October 19, 2008. The first beta version was released July 4, 2009.

Differences from other tools

One key difference of this tool from others like it is that it is a complete standalone application. It is not a client application that connects to a remote database (Pirate Commodity Trader) or remote server (Pirate Commodity Trader with Bleach). This also provided the ability to include other features.
