Arrr! Puzzling! The heart o' every Pirate's life! We have three principle kinds of Puzzles in Yohoho! Puzzle Pirates:
Skills o' Piracy
When upon the high seas a Pirate needs her wits and puzzlin' skills about her. The Duty Puzzles are performed aboard aboard ship, and they be:
- Bilge Pumping fer clearing the hull o' the bilge water that slows the vessel down
- Sailing, brings the vessel up to speed
- Navigation, keeps her on course and helps acceleration
- Gunnery, for loading the cannons in battle
- Carpentry, for repairing damage from rocks, shots, and the cruel seas and
- Treasure Haul, for plundering booty from sunken vessels.
In addition when Sea Battle concludes with boarding, all the Pirates engage in Swordfighting or a Rumble!
Crafting Puzzles
That's not to forget the noble labour that one can perform in a shoppe. Right now there be three shops with Puzzles:
- Distilling, brewing up fine rum
- Alchemistry, the mystical art of potion-making
- Shipwrightery, the fine fashioning of vessels
These Puzzles can be played in their respective shops, often earning a pretty penny for your labour!
Carousing
After a hard days Piracy or labouring, a Pirate likes nothing better than to relax in the inn and indulge in a little carousing. The following carousing games are there for all to play;
- Hearts, the four-player card game of much snipery
- Spades, a partner card game with four players
- Drinking, every Pirate's favourite passtime
- Treasure Drop, a fun way to risk yer pieces of eight!
- Brawls, group swordfighting melees
