Hemp oil is one of nine basic commodities.

Though it is listed in the game as a basic commodity, it must be created at player-owned shoppes or stalls; it is not found at any commodities market nor on merchant brigands.

Hemp oil is created at distilleries by processing hemp and is used by apothecaries to create paint, lacquer, varnish and certain potions.
