Ebony Sails is a revamped and growing crew that sails the Sage Ocean and was founded on 2 December 2006. The crew currently flies the flag of Delirious Depredations.

History of Ebony Sails
Ebony Sails was originally founded on 2 December 2006 by Poolz as the Dead Beat Legion. They were members of the flag Verus Fidelitas.
In June of 2007 Lizagna merged a dead crew that she had taken over into the Dead Beat Legion, and took control. She and Poolz then founded their own flag.
Finally, after dreaming of her crew for many months, Lizagna was able to rename the Dead Beat Legion to Ebony Sails.
Crew Articles
- PTB for sloops only
- Unlocked ships are available for crew use only if indicated in the officer bulletin board on the ship.
- If an alt wishes to join the crew and have a higher rank than their stats show then their main pirate must send a tell to the captain or recruiting officer saying that the pirate is indeed their alt, and the alt's stats must show in some way that they are an alt.
- All promotions to officer or higher must be recommended by someone of the desired rank and approved by the captain. For SO all current senior officers must approve.
- All exceptions are at the Captain's discretion.
Promotion Requirements
- Cabin Person: Worked on a pillage.
- Pirate: 3 of the piracy statistics at broad or better. Distinguished guns.
- Officer: Bilge, sails and carp solid. 3 standings of master or better. Narrow or better battle navigation.
- Fleet Officer: Broad or better swordfighting, rumble and battle navigation. Respected or better standing in battle navigation. 2 standings of renowned or better.
- Senior Officer: Own a ship. All main piracy statistics at solid or better with at least 4 renowned or better. (These stat requirements may be trumped by spectacular loyalty or other extenuating circumstances.)
