A dog is a type of pet. They can be purchased from the palace shoppe for 12,000 Pieces of Eight and, on doubloon oceans, 12 doubloons.

A black dog is a limited edition pet, which was only available during Halloween 2007. It could be purchased from the palace shoppe for 50,000 Pieces of Eight, and, on doubloon oceans, 50 doubloons.

Dogs have a choice of eight primary colors and five secondary colors.
