History of Dead Man's Hand

Dead Man's Hand was founded on 22 February, 2007.

The crew is named for two-pair hand in poker that contains "aces and eights." Legend has it that the origin of the name, dead man's hand, was the five-card-draw hand held by Wild Bill Hicock at the time of his murder, which is generally believed to have included the aces and eights of both of the black suits.

By June of 2007 Josecuervo had reliquished the captaincy to Profion.

Public Statement

We are a new crew but our officers do have experience. We are happy to have new members to our crew. So if you would like to join just ask any officer of the crew.

We will have crew games and trivia questions for a chance to earn poe from time to time. While on a pillage, please do not ask to join or to be promoted until you get to port so you do not distract people while working or in a battle.

Abusive, rude, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated from anyone in the crew including Officers or you will be planked!

Remember we are all here to have fun!
