Biography

Crispix began his sailing on the ocean in July 2003 on Azure. A few days after starting the game he became a member of the Unmanageables. He joined the crew just after their captain Bigw had helped Thanos create the Crimson Tide flag. This makes Crispix one of the oldest members of Crimson Tide still in the game. He stayed with the Unmanageables up until the end of beta testing. His name can be found on the stone tablet located on Nu Island.

When Midnight was released, Crispix decided not to purcahse a subscription as he was not sure if he would have the time to continue playing the game as a difficult spring semester was about to begin. In June of 2004, Crispix returned to the game and quickly found his old crew which was now a member of Silver Dawn. The Unmanageables would eventually merge into the crew Easily Distracted. As time wore on, this new crew began losing members. When the current captain left to play World of Warcraft, Crispix was handed the reins.

Despite a valiant effort, the crew could not be saved and so the decision was made to merge into The Cartographers. At this point, Crispix became more engaged in the everyday workings of the flag and general politics. Over time he became embittered by the lack of progress in the flag and decided that he needed to take a more active role in an attempt to change things for the better. When the next monarch elections came about he decided to run a write-in campaign in an attempt to be elected without being nominated. Although he failed to win, his move was more of a statement than an honest attempt. Shortly afterwards, Crispix became a royal in the flag. He soon discovered that there was nothing he could do to fix the internal politicking and red-tape bureaucracy that had become so entrenched in the flag's everyday workings.

Finally, after more than a year of voicing his opinion without success, he decided in spring of 2007 to leave the flag. Incidentally, this meant that he would be leaving a crew for the first time in 4 years of playing the game. After a short stint in Wyvern's Pride of the flag Broadsiders, he settled into Pirates of the Damned, bringing him back to the flag that he started in way back on the shores of Azure.
