A cat is a type of pet. They can be purchased from the palace shoppe for 12,000 Pieces of Eight, and, on doubloon oceans, 12 doubloons.

A black cat is a limited edition pet, which was only available for Halloween 2006/2007. It could be purchased from the palace shoppe for 50,000 PoE, and, on doubloon oceans, 50 doubloons.

A mala-cat is a limited edition pet, which was released on June 3rd, 2008 to celebrate the opening of the new doubloon ocean Malachite. Mala-cats were sold at the palace shoppe for 50,000 PoE and 50 doubloons. No new mala-cats were available after the two-week period of availability.

Cats have a choice of nine primary colors and eight secondary colors.

During Halloween, 2006 and 2007, a black cat was available from the palace shoppe. It came in only one variety, all-black. Other variations are included in the above chart for completeness.

On June 3rd, 2008, a light green Mala-cat was available from the palace shoppe.
