History

Bootleg Bandits was founded by Downtown, Wooden and Thunderx in May, 2007. The crew was originally named and made by Wooden.

Thunderx - first Captain, May 2007

Ahoy all!

We are the Bootleg Bandits, we aim to have fun and play hard! We welcome anyone who wants to pillage and have fun and especially welcome pirates that want to become Officers and run their own pillages. We have plenty of crew ships and can provide training.

If you want to merge with us, please ask the Captain or any Senior Officer.

Crew Rules

Use yer Manners.
Always obey your Senior ranking crew member!
DO NOT ask to be promoted, the rules for promotion are quite clearly listed on this page!
PTB (Permission To Board) must be requested on crew chat before boarding any vessel unless requested to board for a pillage by the Officer in charge. If you board a ship without permission this may cause problems for the OIC and therefore, you will probably be planked. If you continually disobey this rule or disrespect the OIC, you may be demoted to Cabin person. So please follow this rule.
Only the owner of the vessel is allowed to take money from the coffers, trade commodities and split the booty! (Exceptions will be made for "crew ships" where the OIC may take the remainder after restocking)
You must NOT leave during battle unless it is an emergency, this could be the decider as to if we win the battle or not!!
Begging will not be tolerated, there are many ways to earn PoE!
Lazers will NOT be tolerated during a pillage. The only person allowed to be lazing is the OIC or XO’s (eXecutive Officer) as they may be doing things required by OIC's and XO’s during a pillage. If you are lazing ye will get 3 warnings then be planked!
If ye need to be absent from your PC during a pillage you must leave the vessel so you can be replaced with someone who can work! You can come back on board afterwards!
Regardless of it being yer ship, if ye leave it abandoned at sea, ye will be keel hauled unless ye have expressed permission from the Captain or any SO.
Any member of the crew found in direct violation of Puzzle Pirates ToS (Terms of Service) will be questioned and possibly expelled and/or complained! ToS needs to be read by all crew http://www.puzzlepirates.com/Terms.xhtml.
