Black Sage Marauders is a crew that sails the Sage Ocean. The crew currently flies the flag of League of Light.

History of Black Sage Marauders
Black Sage Marauders was founded by Redbalaylay in the first few days of the ocean on 25, August 2005. Redbalaylay originally played on Viridian, so joining the flag of his Viridian King, Subliminal, was a natural choice. Soon, however, flag inactivity forced the crew to move on, and it made its new home in The Light Brigade.
On 29 October, 2006, Senior Officer Xzx, left Black Sage Marauders to found his own crew Los asesinos del Alba but then returned a couple of weeks later.
When The Light Brigade broke up, Black Sage Marauders spent a short time under the banner of Go with the Flow before joining the test flag The Nameless
Finally the crew settled in under the flag of League of Light.
On 3 January, 2007, due to lack of free time, Redbalaylay stepped down as captain and promoted Xzx.
By June of 2007 Redbalaylay had returned and resumed the captaincy of Black Sage Marauders
At the end of May 2008, Xzx returned to revive BSM again.
Public Statement
Ahoy Mates, Come join of the most ancient crews of Sage Ocean.
We be a heavily pillaging crew here to take over this ocean. Come join us or be prepared to feel our wrath if we come about ye.
If ye be pillaging with us and want to join the crew, wait until we finish the pillage then ask. This is important since many times yer annoying the officer in charge of the pillage and he might plank ye.

We are an old crew who likes to puzzle. If your nice to us, we will be nice to you. We welcome everyone with open arms.
Most importantly, this is a game and I want you to have fun.

Promotion Requirements
- Cabin Person: Anyone may join our crew as long as you didn't do anything to get us mad while you were pillaging with us.
- Pirate: You must have a YELLOW name and narrow in most piracy skills (not counting swordfight and rumbe). Pirates are not allowed to gun unless they are given permission by an officer in charge. Remember, if you ever need help with any of the puzzles feel free to contact me.
- Officer: Your carp/bilge/sail/duty navigation must be broads or higher..with a couple of of master or higher standings. You must show us that you are responsible by joining some of our pillages and staying for most of the pillage. Pirates can battle navigate in the navy even if your not an officer.
- Fleet Officer: Fleet Officer must show that they can act as a leader at times. I would prefer if you have master or higher in battle navigation. Stats must improve while you were an officer.
- Senior Officer: Senior Officers do not have to be great at battle navigation they just have to show understanding. They must show understanding all the puzzle and have decent stats. What I am really looking for in a Senior Officer is that they will be able to take over at times when I am not here. Senior Officers will be noticed by everyone in the crew.
- Captain: Don't push your luck.
