The Goonies were founded on February 23, 2006, taking its name after the
movie.
The Goonies were autocratic in nature, but encouraged democratic debates on crew issues. The crew's motto was "a Goonie never says die!"
Historical information
The crew was created on the Sage Ocean by Captain Vapor, after he left his former crew, The Apollos. The crew joined the flag The Phantom Fleet, where they played a prominent role in the Amity Island blockade of June 3, 2006 and defeated the flag Black moon in a three-round sinking blockade.
On June 15, 2006 the crew switched flags to Rebellion whose goals closely matched that of The Goonies. This heralded in a new era for the crew as it merged with the illustrious crew Ilse de Muerta to mark a peak of 380 Goonie members.
The Goonies took part in the second blockade at Amity Island on June 17, 2006 this time for their new flag Rebellion. Although making a prolific impact by sinking ships from both The Phantom Fleet and Armed Cocktail Party, due to lack of allied support and jobbers they made an early exit from the blockade. Shortly after that, they left Rebellion.
On June 18, 2006 The Goonies reached Eminent status, and made their entrance into the top 10 crew fame list on sage on June, 25.
On July 03, 2006 Vapor stepped down as Captain of the Goonies.
