Forum ban was the result of a misunderstanding and I've removed it as well as the unfounded suppositions made about the reason behind it. --Artemis 12:02, 16 July 2007 (PDT)

NPOV

The following claims may be accurate, but require some sort of independent basis for the claims.

  • Established as one of the best blockade navigators on Cobalt
  • Established as an excellent event manager both as Av and Avernus
  • Established as an excellent Atlantis Naver
This would clearly all be removed if this was Wikipedia, but I am not well versed on the Vanity Page Policies on YPPedia... --ConnorKowale 18:03, 18 September 2007 (PDT)
I cannot speak for all of the items as I do not believe I have ever participated in one of his events. As for blockade navigation, I have had the opportunity to job on a number of his ships over the past few months, specifically in BK blockades on Cobalt where, for one, we have never sunk, and secondly, have played a large role in defeating the BKs both in defensive and offensive roles. As for Atlantis, Av has led many trips aboard a WF into Atlantis each time returning to port with at least 350k in the booty, and the ship has usually got at least 60 jobbers. Since the release of Atlantis, Av has led at least one trip to Atlantis each day. Read this for additional information. -- Cedarwings (t/c) 20:49, 18 September 2007 (PDT)

My record speaks for itself. nuf said -Av 20:05 18 September 2007 PST

I have jobbed on most of AV's runs to Atlantis. I have never sunk. We hit port with no less than 350k and 300 chests. His success is known ocean-wide. Many will leave other ships if they hear AV is going in. The waiting list when we leave is long. He never had trouble filling his frigs. 75 excellent pirates and a waiting list. If that doesn't say enough for you, try jobbing in on one of his runs, but be warned, ye better work hard or ye'll be swimming with the sea monsters. There are too many others waiting in line.! --IV 22:46 18 September 2007 PST

I have participated in or helped with nearly every event, blockade, and atlantis run. This is not exaggeration, these are his accomplishments, he has every right to be proud of them.--Livngdedgirl 3:37 28 September 2007 PST

Just adding to the support of the claims that are "NPOV". I think they are accurate and have plenty of proof of validity. --[Stevensam] 12:00 15 March 2008 (PDT)

The NPOV tag was removed in October, and this discussion took place back in September. Needless to say, there isn't currently an issue. I added timestamps on the comments above based on the edit history of this talk page. --Thunderbird 00:25, 16 March 2008 (PDT)
