User talk:Drag0nrit3r

From YPPedia

I moved The Insane Writer Duo to User:Newbee12/The Insane Writer Duo because its content was more appropriate for a user page (being about players rather than the pirates they play in game) than an article in the main name space of the YPPedia. This reason is in that page's history. If you prefer, it could be instead moved to User:Drag0nrit3r /The Insane Writer Duo. -- Faulkston 22:20, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

Can it be changed to Dragonwriter+User:Newbee12-The Insane Writer Duo ? or is that too long? *Had to discuss it with Miriama first*
Basically, Faulkston moved the page into the user namespace - specifically, Newbee12's section of the user namespace. "User:Newbee12/The Insane Writer Duo" means it's a page called "The Insane Writer Duo" located in Newbee12's part of the user namespace. With Newbee12's permission, you can do what you want with that page, but since, as Faulkston said, it's an article about the users rather than the pirates, it doesn't fit in the main namespace. Other than the change of location, there's nothing different about the page. To call it "User:Newbee12+Dragonwriter/The Insane Writer Duo" or similar, while technically allowable, is extremely unwieldy, and will confuse the wiki software somewhat, so that would not be a good idea. --Belthazar451 01:09, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

I understand. Can you transfer it to my username space, then?

Done. -- Faulkston 04:56, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

Links to user name space pages from main name space articles aren't permitted, otherwise there'd not be much point in moving pages out of the main name space in the first place. Main name space articles have far more restrictions upon their content than user name space pages, and links from the former to the latter could be confusing. -- Faulkston 01:12, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Alright. Thank you for telling me.
