I started playing Puzzle Pirates on March 31st, 2006. I kicked around a crew or two before landing in Rule 62 in mid-April. Just after joining this crew, our crew joined the flag Paradise. This move would set up the dominoes to fall in the direction my pirate career would take. Sometime in mid May, I was made officer in R62. This opened up the world of flag chat to me, where I got to know many of the officers in the various crews of Paradise. Officers who are today still some of my most trusted hearties. Officers who would welcome me and my wife, Nickilark, into their crew when disaster struck. In early June of '06, for reasons I have never fully understood, the Captain of R62, Xlr, decided to pull the crew from Paradise. After a few days, whe it was evident the crew was not returning to Paradise, Nicki and I decided to return ourselves there. We knew officers in various crews of Paradise, and as fate would have it, we made contact with Meerca of the Soul Collectors. We were welcomed in with open arms, looking only to be made pirates. Instead, we were made Officers, which was soon ammended to Fleet Officers by Wolfmedic, the Captain of Soul Collectors. Through various ups and downs in the crew and our new flag, Soul Mates, I have stood firm in my loyalty to this crew and flag, and plan to always do. Fast forward to February of 2007. Now a senior officer and prince of Soul Mates, I felt the game getting stale for me. With a choice to either quit the Viridian of strike out as captain of my own crew, I chose to start my own crew. So, with equal parts sadness and excitement, I formed Pillaging Fools. This was done with the complete knowledge and blessing of Wolfmedic. The next day, with Rumored status gained, I brought the Fools back into Soul Mates.
