First of all, this is NOT implemented in Puzzle Pirates.. Yet. If someone will kindly direct some OM or Dev attention to this, it'll be very kind. Also, if one of you wants to add a section, please put it in Discuss This Page. I'll get to it ASAP, and it'll probably be in the next draft.
Hey yall. Roughjericho here. I wanna tell you about one of my ideas for Puzzle Pirates: Player Operated Oceans.
With this, players can operate invitation-only oceans, whitch they can screw around with using the (hopefully implemented with this) Player Ocean tools.
I wanna talk about how players can get a ocean first.
Players first get the y!PP Server from the site.
After making a server account (this'll be used to acess yer Ocean's sole Om account, only used for that ocean and that one only) and naming yer ocean (no bad words. You can use Latin words, but not Latin bad words.), you can start making it.
Note: the ocean must have at least 2 islands and 1 route to be considered operational.
Once the first process is complete, you get to start creating the ocean.
The ocean creation tool is a grid in which you get to place islands (there are some premade ones, i hope) and map routes between them. Also, you get to designate what archipelago they're in.
Also in your tools: OM status (yer ocean only), the ability to invite hearties from other oceans into your ocean, and lots more!
More drafts to come!
