The Pillage People is a crew that sails the Cerulean Ocean. The crew currently flies the flag of National Pirate Radio.
History
The Pillage People was founded on 21 February, 2005.
The crew was initially in the flag of The YMCA but in September of 2005 the flag disbanded and the crew then became a member of the flag of National Pirate Radio.
By August of 2007 Mourn had replaced Loola as captain of the crew.

We are a fun loving crew of talented pirates and we welcome you on board.

Crew Articles
We ask that when you job with us you follow a few simple guidelines:
- Please don't play parlour games on board
- We enjoy a little ribald humour but there is a fine line on obscenities
- Never be less useful than the bot who would replace you (puzzle hard and we all make more)
- Grab a station you enjoy and are good at. The captain will ask you to move if you'd be more helpful elsewhere.
- Guns and nav are typically covered but if you are GM or better, feel free to let us know you are available
- Let your captain or whip know if you have to go or be afk
- Leaving in battle is to be avoided but if your house, cat, dog or child is on fire we will absolutely understand.
- Jobbers and crew should ask PTB (permission to board) in crew chat before boarding a ship you have not been invited to join.
Promotion Requirements
- Cabin Person: Unsubscribed.
- Pirate: Subscribed.
- Officer: Own your own ship. Narrow in bilge, carp. gunnery and sails. Approval of Senior Staff. Please talk to an SO about officer training. In order to hire jobbers please have an SO do a check out cruise with you.
- Senior Officer: A Pillage People SO loves to help their mates, actively participates in crew events/pillages and is courteous whether they win or lose. They set a standard of behaviour that is not boastful (though they possess mighty fine skills) and contribute to the happiness of their mates and well being of their crew.
