That does seem a broad generalization. I have a dim recollection of jobbing with the defenders. There was initial show of force by the contenders; once it was repelled at each of the islands, that seemed to be the end of it. There were two different blockading forces, Ship For Brains, which attacked Oyster, and "Notburi" The one at Oyster lasted the whole time with some of the rounds being rather close, while the WS/Park blockades became a game of cat and mouse, with Midnight Armada constantely rebalancing forces to deal with the changing threats between the two islands for each round. Hrm, and as I think about that, those were the first blockades I ever admiraled for.... -Jacktheblack 11:32, 7 February 2006 (PST)
