Fabulous! This is a great idea. Shandra (Taco)
Sentence Fragment
Ugh. I'm not sure what happened, but I lost half a sentence in the "Judging" Section, and I assume I shouldn't go back and edit it, since the entry period is closed. But if anyone is wondering, it should finish, "provide results back to the technical judge for summation to determine the overall winners."BlackBeth 09:43, 6 February 2006 (PST)
- Yes, editing bad, though I can see that you did some editing. It was minor enough to not be a problem, but please leave your entry alone.
Ow, your right! I deleted a nonsense sentence fragement w/o even thinking about it. I apologize. I had to go back and look before I could even figure it what I'd edited and why.--BlackBeth 12:59, 6 February 2006 (PST)
I love this idea, it's so cute. I'm not sure it is familiar worthy for your participants, but not all events have to be heavy fierce competitions with 3 pages of rules. Nice light fun competitions are a genre our events section needs more in! I heartily support it! The lightness an ease of the rules should encourage more participation, too. --Muroni 06:42, 8 February 2006 (PST)
Thanks, Muroni. I liked the idea becaue it seemed simple but different. Quite honestly, I don't have the time to run a complex event in March due to RL commitments, so this seemed like the best course. The chance to increase my eventing skills by being mentored by experienced event planners and OM's was to good to pass up, so I couln't resist entering something. The other thing I like about Plundered Poems it that it can go on to other forms than sonnets. I will definitely run a "Nursery Rhyme" edition someday, too. And yeah, I realize it probably isn't a familiar-worthy event, especially compared to some of the other proposals in E2, most of which are much more complex than mine. But a girl can dream... :) --BlackBeth 11:02, 8 February 2006 (PST)
