Talk:Black Opal/monument

I saw another crew entry that had their Azure monument text listed. I thought it was neat, so I did it for Black Opal....now I'm not certain that the text is useful or interesting, and it would be a PITA (impossible?) to actually link any information from here to Midnight. Not to mention the amount of work from adding monument text to every crew appearing in [[Category:Crew:Azure]]. Useful? --AtteSmythe 29 July 2005 15:32 (PDT)

Well, I think there's sufficient historical value here, but I could be wrong. I did the entire Emperor Island monument, and it took some time to format all the pages. I'm hoping that creating the Azure crew pages inspires people to add more text to the top of them. For crews that continued into Midnight, I can understand moving the monument text to another page. (I'm still not a fan of the subpage notation. I don't think it adds anything.) --Barrister 29 July 2005 15:45 (PDT)

Not a fan of the notation, but I couldn't think of anything better. Feel free to move it. The only problem that I could think of with creating crew pages was that there's no guarantee that a Midnight crew by the same name is actually the continuation of the Azure crew - some of the names on the seas are rather generic. --AtteSmythe 29 July 2005 15:58 (PDT)
