Pets
Do we want a note about the renamability (or lack thereof) of pets? --Belthazar451 11:45, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
I do. --Franklincain, 16 June 2010

clarification for "Exceptions"
"Vessels will not be renamed to any existing ship name."
this is misleading. vessels renames must be unique for THAT OCEAN. is OK to use same rename across different oceans. (I found one Pirate in the Wiki with same ship name on all of the Dub oceans, for example.) therefore, this exception (above) should be re-worded to specify that it applies for just THAT ocean...
on the other hand, if Three Rings changed their rules (i.e. that renames must be unique across ALL oceans), and the example Pirate I found had his ships "grandfathered", then this exception (above) should still be re-worded to specify that it applies across ALL oceans...
trying to help. ;-)

Flag and Crew Renames
It has been mentioned on greeter chat that this page doesn't say how to request flag or crew renames (only how much they cost). Would it be possible to get some more precise info on what is needed in the petition for these renames? =D --Adrielle ♥ =)
I agree with Adrielle, this page is too vague. At no point in this page does it even refer the player to actually Petition to an OM to rename a flag or crew. Leknight1 17:00, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
Rename pirate
No mention is made on this page of renaming a pirate or the cost. Chupchup 11:59, 28 June 2012 (PDT)
- Added to the To Do's, thankye! --Clotho 22:16, 6 August 2012 (PDT)
- After checking this again, we don't add pirate, pet or familiar renames because they don't go through support for approval, therefore it's not an 'official service', they are just a part of the rogue mark shoppe. --Clotho 10:39, 20 September 2012 (PDT)
suggested links
- Official pages don't usually link to main pages- the other way around is the norm. --Clotho 22:15, 6 August 2012 (PDT)
- Fair enough. I was just trying to think of a way to let more people here learn about that list, and this article seemed (to me) to be the most logical place to include it. Thank you. -- Franklincain (t/c) 13:55, 7 August 2012 (PDT)
