Brucemcgaw
Arr! This article about a pirate in Puzzle Pirates be a stub. Ye can help YPPedia by expanding it.
Brucemcgaw is a pirate that quickly rose to fame from seemingly out of nowhere, however it's like he was always there to begin with because I don't remember what the Emerald ocean was like without him.

The Bruce
Fellow pirates have varying views of Brucemcgaw, he is either a pirate you can depend on because he is probably your employer and is paying your wages, or he is a pirate you despise because he plotted a hostile take over of your beloved island, regardless you know of him because he is THE BRUCE that you've heard your crew talking so much about.. You may have not noticed it but you've been buying cannonballs and rum from him for a while now, by the way that ship you just ordered earlier has been completed and is now ready for delivery from his shipyard... Is that a made at Brucemcgaw's Tailor tag that I see sticking out from underneath your collar?
Bruce's Piracy Skills
No one has actually seen Bruce touch the sail ropes of a ship, whenever sailors are needed to handle the ropes he is often heard saying that his fingers are too sore from counting pieces of eight. When more pirates are required to bilge he always complains about how he had to move a bunch of gold earlier and that it was very heavy so he can't bilge right now because his muscles are already strained. Carpentry? no chance, he isn't about to lose a finger, how would he then be able to count his money? And Bruce knows you've already organised someone else to man the guns so your not going to ask him to do that. So would you let someone like this take the helm of the ship, I think not. So he'll most likely be in the birds nest convincing you that somehow he is being helpful from up there and that you should +1 him during booty division once the ship reaches port. But all it takes is for someone to say "Hey I think I see some treasure overboard" then like a bolt of lightning Bruce shoots down from above and before you can say "It's all mine!" he has already brought a hefty sum of treasure aboard the ship.
Bruce's Sea Monster Hunting Experience
Atlantis and Haunted Seas
Despite having been given a blackspot by the Heart of the Pirates crew for unknown reasons, he has a 100% success rate of being accepted as a jobbing pirate to join their adventures into Atlantis and the Haunted seas. This because their Monarch, Captain and all of the Senior officers appear to approve of him. Bruce can frequently be spotted on their ships overlooking the railings waiting for treasure to haul in, or sword fighting on the deck of their ships fending off Atlanteans. Yeah trust me I don't understand how this status quo continues to exist either.
Kraken Hunting
While attempting to find a vessel heading into the open seas, Brucemcgaw was tricked into boarding one that would deliver him straight into the den of the fearsome Kraken. He would have never willingly gone anywhere near such a creature if it were up to him. This was the disastrous plot of the pirates Meowsah, Beckerz, Koalaking, and Missroxy, who were preparing him to become bait for the beast itself. They loaded his rowboat with kraken bait and sent him unknowingly toward the creature while they planned to steal the eggs from right beneath it. Brucemcgaw is still around, so he must have learned a thing or two about krakens; however, from what I've heard at Sho Girls Inn on Admiral, he remains deeply afraid of them. Notably, Bruce is the second known “Dock boy”—a player swooped from the docks—following Mirru, a distinction that has followed him ever since his early days. Over time, he also earned the nickname “Hagrid” due to his striking resemblance in both dress and appearance, a comparison that others were quick to point out and he never quite managed to shake as much as he waved his cape.
Crews/Flags
League of Shadows, High Spirits
Brucemcgaw was in the crew League of Shadows of the flag High Spirits, he originally joined the crew so he could get paid for bashing barbarians, it's an odd job but it paid. Due to his connections he was given the opportunity to manage the flag's shipyard at Ashkelon Arch to prove his worth in becoming a Lord of the flag High Spirits. When Brucemcgaw became manager of the Ashkelon Arch shipyard it already was abandoned and it was losing pieces of eight every week. During this time Bruce was promoted to Fleet officer of League of Shadows in order to fufill his duties as manager of the flag's shipyard. Within a week of hard dedicated work, Bruce turned the flag's shipyard at Ashkelon Arch into the flag's most valuable asset which was confirmed by the Queen of the flag. Bruce also became manager of the flag's apothecary during this time. Wanting to realize his worth Bruce declared his intent to become Governor of Ashkelon Arch to the Captain of his crew and to the Queen of his Flag. The royals of the flag had a discussion and despite that all of Bruce's hard work was beyond their expectations of not only his capability but it was also beyond what they thought was practically possible, they decided that Bruce would not become Governor of Ashkelon Arch. Bruce unhappy with their decision, ripped up all of his paperwork and tossed it into the sea then resigned as manager and abandoned the crew and flag. Bruce designed the entire business structure at Ashkelon Arch's shipyard, all that he did over that week in creating the foundation of the shipyard was destroyed. Though the paperwork and therefore business was destroyed, there still remained the shipyard along with its assets and ships. Rumor has it that Bruce is collaborating with demons and seeks the complete destruction of what remains at Ashkelon through other means, but I don't believe in demons...
