Blink was a flag on the Meridian Ocean. The name originated from the 10th episode of the third series of the revived British science fiction TV show Doctor Who, in which the Doctor warned Sally Sparrow about the weeping angels:

"Your life could depend on this: Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast, faster than you could believe. Don't turn your back, don't look away, and Don't Blink! Good luck."

Blink was disbanded unintentionally some time in April 2012. And following the spirit of the TV show, it regenerated with a new name and a new face called The White Void. One might argue that Blink is dead, but they are forgetting that its second incarnation is everything that was Blink, and better.
