Waterking doesn't remember when he first started Puzzle Pirates. He does remember that fateful day when he played a game a spades with a new pirate named, Ricka. He remembered talking to Ricka and inviting her to his crew, Silent Storm. She accepted and he whisked her off to a pillage. It was very succesful. Waterking praised Ricka for her talent, efforts, and success. When Ricka was modest about it, Waterking saw Ricka was trustworthy and able, so he promoted her to Officer. Waterking then helped her run her first pillage which was also successful. After that Waterking promoted Ricka again to Fleet Officer. At Ricka's shocked responce and more modesty Waterking promoted Ricka to Senior Officer, which she became so distressed and frightened about her huge responsibility and with much pleading, Ricka convinced Waterking to demoted her to Fleet Officer. Within the week Ricka was a Senior Officer and a very good one at that. Later in the year, Waterking forced Ricka to leave the Crew. Ricka was very upset about this, and as Waterking, her friend and late Captain had told her, started her own Crew, the Silent Rose, and joined Waterking's Flag, Silent Catastrophe. Once Ricka had accepted her role as Captin, she went on to be one of the most successful and powerful Captains (and eventually Queens) on the entire Sage Ocean. Waterking and Ricka were friends for many more months before Waterking had to leave Puzzle Pirates for a prolonged time, only to return with a new name.
