History
Striga Cay was originally located on the Malachite Ocean. An inscription on a rock on the western curve of the island reads, "This island were fashioned by Roozie."
In ancient Roman mythology, a Striga, also called a Strix, is a nocturnal bird of ill-omen that feeds on human flesh and blood. The name comes from the Greek word strix, meaning "owl", and is also the origin for the name of the owl genus Strix. A cay is a low-lying sandy isle formed on coral reefs, usually in tropical climates.
Striga Cay is an uninhabitable island.
