Successfully manipulating the game environment since November 16th, 2006. Through many long hours of playing this fine game, we have come to a conclusion: It's fun. Sadly, some players seem intent on sucking this fun from the game. Through beureacracy and NAPs, players have killed piracy and turned Midnight into a pencil-pushing, vanilla-toast ocean. Some players rebelled against this climate, yet commited the same crime. For the Spirit of the Game is not about one play style, but about all of them.

In our flag you will find a nurturing environment (after you get past the barbs). We believe that the game was meant to be played however you wish. Flags were meant to provide goals and cohesiveness to crews. Instead, flags have become an overpowering identity that defines how all of their members approach the game. Flags have taken too much control from the players and their crews and The Spirit of the Game wants to give it back.

Here you will find a home for foragers,, merchants, pillagers, puzzlers, elitists, war mongers, blockaders, event coordinators, puzzlers, pet owners, trinket collecters, docktarts and however else you approach the game. We, as a flag, not only wish to tolerate, but to facilitate each individual's take on the game. There is no playstyle we do not embrace. So come, join us, see how great The Spirit of the Game truly is.
