Error With Deleting Image

I attempted to delete this image because I no longer want it up here. However, I get an Internal Error message that says "Could not delete file "/usr/local/www/data-dist/mediawiki/images/0/0d/Avatar-Zyborg22-spiderrobot.png"." when I attempt to do so.

Then again, maybe I'm not supposed to delete this image. If that's the case, I'll just leave it.--Zyborg22 14:13, 27 February 2006 (PST)

Since you're an Administrator, you should be able to delete the image permanently; I highly doubt whatever's stopping you is the work of some great power trying to preserve your great work forever. :P (If it's just an issue on your end, then another Admin should be able to delete it...If it's bugged somehow, then I don't know. :/) --Emufarmers 17:44, 27 February 2006 (EST)

I imagine it's connected to the same bug that's preventing uploading of files as well right now. For the record, I got the same result when I just tried to delete the image.--Fiddler 14:47, 27 February 2006 (PST)

Known bugs. If the server doesn't have the rights to edit the directory, that will apply to both reading and writing files. --Guppymomma 15:16, 27 February 2006 (PST)
