Iota Exchange is the right-facing commodities market on Eta Island. It was erected in November 2003 (prior to the island's colonization by the flag Silver Dawn)
The marketplace was renamed from "Eta Market" in December 2010 by Dies Irae during The Building Rename Competition to better fit with Eta's naming theme.
The name The Marx Marketplace is a pun on Karl Marx whose ideas played a significant role in the development of modern communism and socialism.
Later was renamed to Iota Exchange.
