Veracious Tenacity is a flag on the Midnight Ocean.

Public Statement

Veracious Tenacity was formed for Alere Flammam Veritatis (AFV) when the founder members split from their previous flag. Of course the meaning is clear - truthful or honest determination. Honesty, loyalty, friendship and respect are the key words in AFV's public statement and figure hugely in how we deal with each other and, more importantly, with others.

We like all flags, started small and grow little by little in ways with which we were happy. Like-minded honest people join the flag and it becomes their flag as much as ours. Crews come and go like all things come and go and we wish them well wherever they may sail.

History

Veracious Tenacity was founded September 30th, 2007.

Veracious Tenacity was founded after the crew Alere flammam Veritatis left Cold Fire shortly after the successful blockade of Cnossos Island. Ultimately the brainchild of Zelnok, Nickcat, Malthus, Blackhair, Natelia and Luckylad the basis was truth and openness in all things and this can be seen in the very name of the flag.

VT continues, as of 19 November 2009, to hold these values as well we can.

Much of the work on the statements was carried out and proof-read by Malthus without whose input we would not be where we are today. A greater wit and writing talent I have yet to meet.
