The Spyglass is a newsletter that will is sent out monthly by Three Rings. News of it first appeared on the in-game home page on June 13, 2008.

Unlike PoEmail, The Spyglass is an opt-in newsletter. Players can subscribe to the newsletter from the Spyglass signup page. Also available is a separate and more frequent events update newsletter, including information on current events, contest entries and the winners.

The Spyglass is published on the Puzzle Pirates website [1], with a brief version being emailed to subscribers. It has replaced the PoEmail newsletter, with subscribers of that being automatically added to main Spyglass mailing list.
