The PoE is Right
How-To-Play Hosts The Games Past Episodes Donations Trivia

  • Please try to show up at least 30 minutes before the start of the event.
  • If you show up before the start of the show, you will be in the drawing to get a seat in the game.
  • 4 contestants start. After they are picked at random, they proceed into the box that they are directed into. Anyone that is not picked that decides to enter one of the boxes will be planked.
  • Contestants start off by guessing the value of an item. The value of all the items is averages of different stalls, due to there being no exact value for any single item. Contestants will wait until they are asked to respond with their answer by the host. The closest pirate to the actual...ly averaged price without going over is the winner. They get that prize and move on to a big pricing game.
  • After that contestant wins, the box in front of them will disappear. That contestant will then step forward, and a replacement contestant will fill their spot in contestant row.
  • At this point, the winning contestant will get to place a pricing game for a more valuable prize.
  • The pricing game's rules will be put into the house news for the contestant, and they will play the pricing game. Once they are finished, win or lose, they are asked to leave the stage. If you lose, you aren't done, so don't log off! If you win, you get your prize and you still aren't finished with the event, so don't log off!
  • Again, the 4 contestants bid on an item and the winner plays a big pricing game.
  • Once 3 contestants have played pricing games, there will be a wall with numbers in front of it. In order, the contestants that played the big pricing game will pick a number of those given. Behind the wall will be presents, which I will explain beforehand what the values of each are. The contestant that picks the number that corresponds with the most valuable present is declared the winner.
  • Then another 3 contestants are picked in the same fashion as before.
  • In the showcase showdown, the winner (most total value among prizes won so far) and the runner-up (lesser value of total prizes won) will see 2 showcases. The first showcase is presented to the top winner, and he/she can guess on it's value or pass it and guess on the next showcase. If he/she passes, the runner-up guesses, if not, the runner-up guesses on the value of the second showcase.
  • The winner is the pirate who bids the closest to the actual...ly averaged price without going over. If their bid is within 1,000 PoE of the actual price, then they win both showcases.
