I would suspect it's limited only by the amount of space allocated for the variable in the game data. If it's 32 bits (unsigned), then we're talking just under 4.3 billion poe. I don't really know how they do it, though - it might even be dynamically allocated, making it theoretically limitless (though the OMs would probably start taking notice when the amount of your stored poe starts passing the 64-bit mark...) --Belthazar451 07:12, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
