Biography
Siothrun, or simply Sio, first tested the piratical waters on the seventh month in the year of our lord two thousand and six. It wasn't until the twelfth day in the eighth month of this same year though that he dedicated his life to being a pirate. Although Napi Peak was where he started out it wasn't long after that he established his home on Terra Island.
He has been loyal to the Reapers of Souls since the first moment he stood upon the decks of one of their ships. He has steadily progressed through the ranks in a short period of time and currently holds the rank of fleet officer and wench with ambitions to further increase his standing within the crew.
He discovered he had a gambling addiction very early on when he found himself playing poker in to the wee hours of the morning. Stumbling home from The Casbah on Terra Island after spending the night playing hand after hand and buying rounds with an old salt. His piracy ways were put on hold to feed this addiction, but his addiction was a profitable one. His success on the poker tables allowing him to establish a small bankroll.
He purchased his first sloop, the Long Lamprey, shortly before making the rank of officer. This single purchase could very well be credited with putting young Siothrun back on the piracy path as well as on the straits to financial success. He now pillages the waters across Cobalt Ocean with reckless abandon and has reaped the rewards.
Ever the entrepeneur as well as pirate, he opened his first stall, Siothrun's Ironworking Stall, on Terra Island. The stall would not enjoy the success it does today without the help of fellow pirates Ladylola and Zorin, who contributed both the know how and aided with some crucial startup capital.
He has made fast friends both from within the flag and without. However, it was from another crew within the same flag where he met his fiancee Veryberry. Siothrun proposed to Veryberry, his favourite berry of all, on the tenth day in the first month in the year of our lord two thousand and seven. Veryberry accepted on the ninth day of the same month and year. This paradoxical situation represents the relationship complexities that we two deal with on an ongoing basis... and we love it! Siothrun and Veryberry plan on a very fruitful marriage filled with adopted greenies.
He has had a brush with "Queen Eye for the Straight Guy" when he received his make over from the monarch and queen of the flag Camur in Vestri Calx, Ladylola. His stylish new threads are now proudly worn wherever he ventures.
Siothrun hopes to see ye aboard the deck of his own vessel one day!
