Most of the crew and flag holds a fairly steady hand in the economic power of the island, as expected. There is still great diversity and fair competition attracting other islands to sail there for the lower prices.

Public Statement

Otherwhen be a friendly crew, intent on having fun, helping each other learn to be the best pirates we can be, and bringing civilization to the Sapphire Archipelago. We have a formal officer training program that includes significant mentoring by either the captain or one of the senior officers.

Otherwhen was named after an alternate universe book by H Beam Piper called "Lord Kalvan of Otherwhen". Fer that matter, our flag Water Sleeps was named after a science fiction book, and all the buildings on Beta Island be science fiction or fantasy references. But ye don't have to read science fiction to have fun in this crew!
