Public Statement
During the storms of life when in danger of sinking..... when all seems to be crumbling to dust....we often crave an "Oasis"....somewhere to lay aside our worries, bask in the sun, slug some rum, and enjoy the fruit of our pillaging!
However, never underestimate the exotic lure of an Oasis. It entices you to seek safety and to drink deeply and recover your strength! It appears as a mirage on the horizon...a shimmering tropical paradise in the desert. It appears to be a port in the storm! However, our "Oasis" is not a lovely little paradise!!!
Our goal is to lure, trap and devour!!! Rule #1 : The rules of "Oasis" are fairly simple...have fun...and take no one hostage!!! Essentially, if you aren't enjoying the crew...plank yourself and move on... If you are grouchy, irritable, or just mean there will be a dub charge for putting up with you!! Promotions:
Cabin Person to Pirate...get the badge.
Pirate to Officer....get the badge and show you can do the puzzle w/o being told. Take missions in the Navy and get your stats up or be content to pillage alot :)
Officer to Fleet Officer...learn how to restock, nav and be an upright pirate toon.
Fleet Officer to Senior Officer...have the badge and be recommended by other officers. And above all else...don't bug us.
If you are unhappy remember rule #1....plank yourself and find a crew that appreciates all your sweet, adorable ways :)
History
Oasis was formed on 20th September 2005 by Stormie. Its puropse was to be a one woman crew hiring jobbers to pillage with. However, after a few days, the invites were sent out. Oasis joined the flag Vengeance UnLeashed on the 1st October.
