The Insurrectionists is a flag on the Sage Ocean. It was created by Lukie soon after the disbandment of The Red Flag Armada.
October saw the reuniting Devil's Bane with Veni Vedi Vincci and soon after welcomed in the Orange Rebels.
September 2006 saw the addition the Sage Knights and later Ghost's Revenge accept a warm welcome into the flag.
November 2006 allowed the flag to welcome in When I look at the Stars and Followers of Bob.
December 2006, the Insurrectionists welcomed in Gun with the Wind.
In early 2007 many crews of all sizes came under this flag and caused the flags quiet revolution to make it into the top 5 puzzling in Sage.
May 5th 2007 The Insurrectionists along with Fearless Privateers attacked Spaniel Island. It was a close, long and wonderfully fought 5 round blockade that gave the Insurrectionists not only their first blockade experience but their first island. The Avengers had priorly decided they would not defend and had planned their disbandment for the same weekend.
July 15th Spaniel was won by Eternal Glory
September 8th 2007: Following a lively fictionaly dinner meeting and food fight on their flag forums, The Insurrectionists played spin the bottle and dropped on Gauntlet. Another hard fought 5 round blockade, with 4 rounds very close and several interesting server reboots from the introduction of Atlantis adding to the chaos and fun.
Public Statement
A group of mature like minded individuals gathered together for fun. We seek mature crews who understand that the game is made by the people you encounter and not the acquisition of islands or wealth. All are invited to fly the flag of the Insurrectionists if you seek fun and friendship instead of an inter flag political struggle and squabbling.
