Harmattan Island is a medium island located in the Jade Archipelago. There are three known routes from the island: Kirin Island, Erh Island, and an inter-archipelago route to Cochineal Island in the Garnet Archipelago.

History
A weed inbetween two pokeweed berries northeast of the bay reads, "This island were fashioned by Ryanne."
Blockades
Harmattan I: 2005-09-10, Raiders of the Lost Arch won the initial Harmattan blockade after five close rounds against Hecate's Fury.
Harmattan II: 2006-01-29, A Song For The Deaf won the second Harmattan blockade after 3 easy rounds against Raiders of the Lost Arch and Indestructible Fury.
Harmattan III: 2006-06-04, Valor, simultaneously defending at Kirin Island, won the third Harmattan blockade after four rounds against A Song For The Deaf, who were also defending at Ansel Island and Viridis Island, and Imperial Margarine.
Harmattan IV: 2007-01-07, Black Pearl succesfully defended Harmattan Island against Mountees in 3 rounds.
Harmattan V: 2007-09-22, Smuggler's Pearl was unsuccessful defending Harmattan Island against the forces of Jinx in a 3 round sinking blockade.
Harmattan VI: 2008-02-23, Jinx successfully defended Harmattan Island against Crimson Horizons in 3 rounds.
Harmattan VI: 2008-03-01, Jinx was unsuccessful defending Harmattan Island against the flag Elements of Fear in a 3 round sinking blockade.
Transfers
2007-01-22, Valor transferred Harmattan Island to Black Pearl.
2007-06-11, Black Pearl merged with Smuggler's Guild to become Smuggler's Pearl.
