Frond is an outpost island located in the Pearl Archipelago. There are two known routes from the island: Tadpole Isle and Ostreum Island.

History

Frond Island is likely named after its distinctive shape, which resembles that of a fern. Frond is the term for the plant structure of ferns.

On 2005-04-20, the Ringers planted a market on Frond.^[1]

Frond I - 2006-06-24, Elysian Fields defeated Marauders Pact and Ars Piratica in a three-round blockade.

Frond II - 2008-01-19, Elysian Fields defeated Pandemonium in a three-round blockade.

Frond III - 2009-04-25, Liberty Hull defeated Elysian Fields in a three-round blockade to take control of the island.

Frond IV - 2009-05-10, Liberty Hull successfully defended the island against The New Guard in a three-round blockade.

Frond V - 2010-11-28, Liberty Hull successfully defended the island against the Brigand King Brynhild Skullsplitter. The Ocean Masters removed most of her strength prior to the blockade due to the massive amounts of disconnects players were experiencing in the days before the blockade.
