Elwood has been playing in Y!PP since February of 2005, beginning exactly 2 weeks after Viridian opened. He has recently returned to playing Y!PP more frequently after a break from June 2005 until April 2006.
Elwood's Pirate Career
Viridian Ocean
Crew: Port Authority
- Flag: Pirates Gone Wild
- Positions: Cabin Person, Pirate, Officer
- History: Recruited after a good pillage with Tristan, Elwood rose up to be an officer in his early days on Viridian.
Crew: Breakfast Brigade
- Flag: Pirates Gone Wild, Needs More Tilde, others?
- Positions: Officer, Senior Officer, Captain
- History: Breakfast Brigade was under the same flag as Port Authority but of considerably smaller size. The Captain, Karsh, therefore asked if any pirates in PA were interested in moving over. Elwood volunteered. Following the exodus of a significant chunk of PA's leadership, BB eventually left Pirates Gone Wild and migrated around, eventually creating its own flag under King Karsh and playing lots of spades. BB was becoming more and more dormant in the meanwhile, though the leadership was still generally active. Eventually, Elwood was the primary active member and assumed the position as Captain of the flag. However, outside influences (read: WoW) led to Elwood too becoming inactive.
Crew: Goon Royal Navy
- Flag: Needs More Tilde, currently Rainbow Adventure Club
- Positions: Senior Officer, Captain
- History: After the great inactivity of BB, Karsh eventually mentioned Y!PP on the forums, drawing lots of interest in the game. A number of those people came and joined, generating Shanghais which were used to change the crew's name. However, even that influx of people was not enough to save the crew from becoming mostly inactive again.
Hunter Ocean
Crew: The Salty Mouthfuls
- Flag: Pirates of the Blackmast, Pancake Pandemic, The Eye
- Positions: Senior Officer, Officer
- History: Right when Hunter opened, Elwood moved over and helped Karsh out some as a senior officer. However, as part of the becoming inactive thing, he was later kicked down to pirate. After recently coming back, he ran back up to officer and is now losing entirely too much PoE in poker. SMH has also been of some interest in the recent past, but we shall see if that continues.
