Destiny was a flag once on the retired Cobalt Ocean. It was founded on December 20, 2006. This flag has been disbanded.
History
Seadogpete was one of the founders, creating the flag just three days after his crew, Kismet was born.
On May 31, 2007, the Flag of Destiny welcomed the fine crew I want Your POE.
On December 11, 2007 the Flag of Destiny took part in an event blockade on Prolix Purlieu- entering with only a Baghlah they managed to take out three Trust brigs and secure two rounds making them the overall winner.
On March 1, 2008 Seadogpete stepped down as Monarch to concentrate on his Captaincy of Kismet, paving the way for the new monarch, Scarpetta to take the reins.
On March 7, 2008, Destiny welcomed another fine crew Commando Pirates captained by Studland.
On April 12, 2008, Destiny took part in a Bumper Sloop event held on Dragon's Nest - organised by the OM's. It was two rounds of sinky fun, involving 39 flags, and Destiny emerged as clear winners in BOTH rounds!
On April 12, 2008, Destiny welcomed another growing crew Imperial Dragons.
On April 17, 2008, Destiny said fair winds to Imperial Dragons after it was apparent they were not compatible with the flags ethics.
In May, 2008 - Destiny welcomed Baltic Angels to the flag, led by their captain, Biggerdaddy.
On July 12, 2008 - Destiny blockaded at Prolix Purlieu - the defenders Trust did not field any defence - but fortunately, fun was had after post-start drops from Castaway Cove and Dark Asylum which took it to four rounds. Destiny held out to take the island.
On Aug 9, 2008 - Destiny was dissolved after its founder Seadogpete temporarily retired. The remaining mates decided that the flag should no longer be in existence - and so a new flag was formed - Fate of the Phoenix - whose history was short lived. Mates from Destiny are now scattered far on wide on Cobalt.

Destiny is that thing that binds people together with such a force that sometimes, they do not even see it coming. It is a force that is so strong, that once bound can never be broken. It is a force so strong that piddly things have no way of destroying it, they only make it stronger, adding to its fierceness and resilience to outside forces and reinforcing the values that they hold. With this in mind Destiny is something not to be messed with..so beware.
