The /away command allows a pirate to put up a message that will be seen by anyone who sends them a tell. This is useful when the pirate in question is busy or away from the computer, but would like to leave a message for other pirates to hear. The away message may be cleared by using the /back command. The away message will also be shown in the Ahoy! box that is generated by the /who command.

/away <message>, /afk <message>
