Advent Rising was founded on 28 September, 2006 by Metta. The crew was found after he was expelled from his crew Metta was able to recruit officers from Queen Anne's Revenge to initially fill the ranks of the crew.
On 5 October, 2006, Advent Rising founded the flag of Apocalypse.

Crew Goals
- We will teach every member of this crew how to run a shop profitably. (That means free money each week!)
- We will teach each member of this crew how to run a pillage and run it successfully.
- We will focus on organizing crew and flag events to make sure our pirates stay active.
- We will teach everyone in this crew the concept of crew loyalty, and the occasional need to donate for the crew cause.
